Words are considered either magical or transactional, beautiful or useful, depending on how you use them.

“We speak and we speak because we’ve we have never really experienced silence at its peak”

If we could sit here and experience everything around us in its absolute glory without letting our perspectives, views, biases & what we’re identified as to become a barrier, perhaps words, conversations, oratory & for that matter the written word, however thought provoking would invariably fall short of the real thing. For words are a desperate attempt to understand, grasp, assimilate & express everything around only in the manner we understand it & not in its inherent nature.

Words will always be that heart-wrenching void between our lack of experiencing anything life-worthy & our need to some-how articulate that void through our eyes.

Once we’ve understood this, we are free from the added burden of responsibility we put on words & can simply loose our-selves in them with the kind of abandon they deserve & allow them to lift our individual & collective psychology & emotionality.

Better than Verse is a collection of poems & verses that talk about the sub-text of what is actually going on Vs what we believe is going on. It is my attempt at looking at life as closely & minutely to what it is.

Better than Verse is my attempt at using words like if they were used instead silence or to put it I have to use them because we do not understand silence.
